Common Solution Development - Device management

The Device Driver development team at LGSI has over five years experience developing device driver software for LG's CDMA handsets for various operating systems. The team has developed USB Modem drivers compatible with all the LG CDMA handsets. The USB Modem driver package allows the LG CDMA handset to be used as a dialup modem to connect to the Internet. It also allows existing diagnostic and synchronization applications to access the CDMA handset just as if an additional COM port were connected between the handset and the PC. The LG CDMA USB has the unique distinction of being the first USB Wireless Modem driver to get WHQL certification from Microsoft. Contribution by LGSI team The LGSI driver team has developed the following components as part of the USB Modem Driver development

LG USB Bus Driver - This driver is loaded when the CDMA handset is enumerated by the Operating System. This driver in turn is used to create/enable the modem and diagnostic interface of the LG CDMA USB device.

LG USB Modem Driver - This driver is the main driver for the modem interface of the CDMA handset. Dialup applications use this driver to connect to the Internet. This driver is capable of achieving high data rates.

LG USB Diagnostic Driver - This driver is used by diagnostic and synchronization applications to access the CDMA handset. Architecture.
